11 YEARS AND GOING STRONG - WHO'D OF THOUGHT IT'D LAST THIS LONG???
If you would like to meet and wheel with the largest gathering of Zukers in the United States, set aside July 8-10 for a weekend of wheeling at ZookiMelt '10 at the Badlands ORV Park!
The ZookiMelt is an offroading gathering of Suzuki-designed/built 4x4 SUV owners. The first ZookiMelt was held in 1999 at the Badlands Offroad Vehicle Park in Attica, Indiana by a bunch of Zukers who were regulars at the iZook.com website. Everyone had so much fun that they decided to do it again the next year. And again the NEXT year...
This year is the eleventh time the Zukin' community will gather at the Badlands on the first weekend after the Fourth of July for a weekend of wheeling fun.
Although the event managers have changed (iZook.com is no longer associated with the organization of the event), the fun has not stopped - trail rides, driving events, all night wrenching sessions and campfire get-togethers.
ZookiMelt is all about Suzuki-built 4X4 trucks (LJ-series, SJ series, Sidekick, Vitara, X-90, XL-7 and Geo/Chevrolet Trackers). However, we won't kick you out if you or your friends bring something else. Jeeps, Toyotas, Nissans, domestic pickups - whatever, bring 'em along! They won't be able to participate in some of the events like the Raffle, Rally or Best Line but they can run the trails and watch our little trucks in action all they want! Your fearless webmaster brought a Pinzgauer 710M one year and had a BLAST!

Offroading 101 classes and the RTI event are to be conducted by CORE!
Pureevil 71 has announced that CORE Off-Road (Cincinnati Off Road Enthusiasts) has volunteered their services to put on both events. Due to unforseen circumstances, our original presenter had to drop out. We felt very strongly that Offroading 101 would be the best new event at ZookiMelt and us organizer-types are very happy to have CORE step in and help! Don't forget to check the Offroad 101 checkbox if you want to attend classes when you register! Doing so will help us better plan for optimum class sizes!
The Raffle Rules!
New swag continues to be donated for this year's Raffle! While I am unfortunately circumspect about what has been donated (translation: I don't have a clue!), I am happy to report that Raffle tickets will be made available to participants as follows:
A ticket will be handed out to each Suzuki vehicle registration for the ZookiMelt.
Extra tickets will be available for $1 each from select ZookiMelt staff before the Raffle starts on Saturday night.
The more ticket that you buy, the bigger chance that you will win.
Remember it IS okay to decline a winning prize if you really have no use for it - especially if you have already won something. Think of it as an act of character-building. Deal-making after the Raffle is also allowed - just don't be a giant weasel about it...

Now you can list parts that you want to buy or sell at the ZookkiMelt!
Click on the Buy-Sell Items button in the menu on the left to view the list of stuff folks want to sell along with stuff folks want to sell! This way, you have the oppportunity to bring items that you WILL sell as opposed to your entire pile of parts.
